Common Good360 Terminology

As you progress through the compliance process and source donations from Good360, you may run into the terms below. This guide will help you understand some acronyms and key operational terms you may encounter as a member of Good360. 

DR (Disaster Recovery): Good360 ensures the timely delivery of critical goods to nonprofit organizations assisting with all stages of disaster recovery, from the initial response through the long-term rebuilding phase.

FMV (Fair Market Value): The estimated retail value of donated goods, used to calculate the worth of items provided to nonprofits.

LTL (Less Than Truckload): Shipments with fewer than 24 pallets delivered via truck from the Good360 catalog.

MDAA (Master Donation Acceptance Agreement): The terms and conditions that nonprofits agree to when sourcing goods from Good360.

NPO (Nonprofit Organization): Any 501(c)(3) organization registered as a nonprofit.

OTP (One-Time Pickup): A one-time opportunity for nonprofits to pick up donations from a local retailer via the Good360 catalog.

PMA (Program Management Agreement): Terms and conditions for nonprofits partnering with local retailers through Good360’s Retail Match Program.

PPA (Program Participation Agreement): An agreement that outlines a nonprofit’s responsibilities when participating in enhanced Good360 programs.

RM (Retail Match): A program that connects nonprofits with local retailers for ongoing donation streams.

RP (Redistribution Partner): A nonprofit that redistributes donated goods to other local nonprofits. 

TL (Truckload): A program for approved nonprofits to receive full truckloads of donations shipped directly from donors.

Additional Terms:

Liftgate: A truck platform that raises and lowers shipments when the delivery site lacks a loading dock or forklift, available for an additional fee.

Pallet/Gaylord: A 40" x 48" platform used for transporting goods, often stacked with boxes or large containers, requiring a forklift or pallet jack for movement.
